3, 2, 1: Submit up to 3 poems, 2 film analyses/reviews, or 1 short (under 10 minutes) digital film at a time. 

 

Please include your name and the date of your submission in the filename of the document.

 

Simultaneous submissions are welcomed; please just be sure to let us know if your work has been accepted elsewhere. We do not accept previously published material.

 

Text-Based Submissions

Poems and film analyses/reviews should be in .doc or .docx format and submitted via email as attachments.

 

Email all text-based submissions to editor@magiclanternreview.com

 

Digital Video Submissions

Digital videos should be in .avi, .mpeg, .mov, or .wmv format.

 

Submit short films by uploading the file to GoogleDocs, then sharing viewing and downloading permissions with editor@magiclanternreview.com. Alternatively, you can upload the video to YouTube, and share the link via email.

By publishing your work, Magic Lantern Review reserves first North American serial, promotional, non-exclusive anthology, and archival rights. Copyright reverts to the author upon publication. If the piece is subsequently published in another venue, we ask you to credit Magic Lantern Review as first publication.
